Default Ebay Shifters??

i was thinking about buying a shifter off ebay for my 98 eclipse. They are really cheap on there and im just wondering if they are good or not. Ive heard that i shouldnt buy stuff off ebay. But at the same time i dont want to spend $100 on a shifter?[/align]thanks[/align]

alot of times people will get suckered into a short shifter that is cheap because they figure, how different could it be. Well the real difference is in two places, 1 being the quality of the linkages and the metal and 2 being that usually the cheap ones are only a shorter shift **** rod. While the more expensive ones are true short "throw" shifters that actually reduce the ammount of throw required to shift. This is done by not just changing the length of the **** rod.

It would also help if you gave us a link so we could give you better feedback

yea i posted like a minute after you so i didnt see the post. The price makes me very weary. Especially when a normal price is in the 80-100 range, although this one doesnt come with a ****

thats not bad, it comes with a **** which i dont really need. It just makes me curious cause its like the same exact thing... maybe i can search around and find one without a **** thats a decent brand and a lil cheaper?
