i have a 2003 outlander front wheel drive. took it to mechanic they replace timing belt water pump and crankshaft positioning sensor. worked great for a day except the cruise control wouldnt set. figured i would go in monday and ask them about it. monday morning drove to work stopped at gash station got back in car started pulling off and the car stalls smoke come from under dash and theres a electrical burn smell. got it towed to mechanic they confirmed ecu fried but said it has nothing to do with them. and are wanting to charge me 1900 to fix it.. now i was wondering if its true that it frying has nothing to do with them or not.. i have a feeling that they dont want to have to pay to fix it. any help plz
