Has anyone installed/had installed the Mitsubishi harness for the 2007 Outlander?

I had mine installed, and it is not working. Used my buddy's volt meter on it, and it showed 0.2 Volts instead of @12 or so. This would explain why it isn't working...

I checked the ground and the installation, and it appears to me that it may be the so-called 'converter module' which isn't converting the LED voltage up to the trailer voltage.

Has anyone else encountered this problem on this or any other vehicle?

I suspect it may be a defective part, just like to know if I am alone on this.

check for body grounds back probe the ecm for your 0.5vlt referance singals and ecm grounds if all good bad part.

 

it was a bad part indeed, but the dealer just reconfigured it by re-arranging the wiring within the harness, and now it all appears to work. thanks for the input!
