Gear box issue
Hi
My daughter has a 2002 Colt auto, on the way home today the car started to shudder at low speed. On arriving home she tried to reverse into the drive but had no gear! I went out to see what was happening and the car runs ok but it won’t go into gear. You can select a gear with the shift but when in “drive” the neutral light flashes and the indicating light for drive stays on but the car will not move. Also when either reverse or drive is selected I can physically push the car by hand with no resistance.
Unfortunately I don’t have much experience with automatics so any ideas will be gratefully received so I can get the car going again for my daughter.
thanks in advance

I have had the car fault codes read by the AA it came up with the following “ 24 2NDRY SPD OPN” and also F41E, the only reference I can find for this code is relay ‘bummer axle’ has open circuit. Can anyone give me an idea of what I should be looking at replacing!!
