My 1997 mitsubishi montero ls has a temp gauge that reads max hot yet the engine does not over heat , Is it true the gearbox oil cooler can be the cause ? Im lost as what to do , have replaced the rad cap,thermostat and sending unit and it still reads overheating on my gauge within 5 minutes .
