Headlights turn on when unlocking

Headlights turn on when unlocking
I have a 07 outlander and when I turn the engine off with the headlights on and leave the car, sometimes when I come back and unlock the car the headlights will turn on before opening the door. How can I replicate this? I do actually kind of enjoy this.
