does it do it all the time. Does the car overheat. And check to see if you have lost any coolant. Also do you have a check engine light?

Hi, it happens when you put load on the engine. It does not over heat. Coolant level ok. Check engine is not on when engine is running.

thanks

I'd try a hydrocarbon test and check for a possible headgasket, there really isnt anything else that would cause a cloud of white smoke.

^^running very rich will. could have something wrong with the emissions. In that case i would have expected a check engine light though. So who knows.

Running rich will be black or grey depending how rich the mixture is. White is usually coolant/moisture.

Leakdown/compression test should show the truth.

I'm betting the head gasket is gone.
