I have a 2001 Mirage. I've been locked out of the car with it running because of the auto-locking that occurs when the engine starts. I heard that it's possible to re-program this feature and would like to learn how.

I'd appreciate any advice toward disabling the auto-locking.

[From reading the forum, I realize that some consider this a safety feature, but we don't have /any/ needs for doors that automatically lock. I'm not looking to debate whether we /should/ disable the feature. I'm looking to learn /how/ to do it.]
