I want to do an engine swap

I have a 99 mirage and i wanna put a v6 out of an eclipse in there

will this motor fit in the engine compartment???

I'm wanna put a five speed in there too

 

do you have access to a sawzall? and you didn't want a/c right?

 

i know it's gonna be a bitch to do, cuz of all the work.

yea, my pops works at a body shop

this is the first vehicle that i own that has a/c that works properly, so i don't need it

 

Not only you have to think weather the engine will fit or not you have to think if the gearbox would mount proper and if not finding one that will and modify the clutch to suit it the next question has it been done be4? If it has you know that it can be done but be aware that it might cost $$$ you alot. [8D]

 

actually I gave up on this idea, cuz I think in the long run I'm just gonna sell the car anyways

from the looks of things all the mounts are the same and the engine compartment is very similar
