i put on a front mount intercooler today and my boost guage would not read boost past 1 psi. and i tryed to drive the car and it was going no where what might the problem be? ps . its a universal intercooler with universal 3 inch piping

My guess; there is a leak in the piping somewhere. It happened to my buddies SRT after we installed his FMIC. His boost gauge was reading at no more than 5psi at the most. So double check all pipes and silicone connections for leaks or gaps. If that isn't it then I don't know what to tell you.

also the pressure drop is kinda crazy. how do i make the car rev higher so it wont shut off. because it was rev kinda low

you fix the boost leak thats what you do lol.

YOur leaking the air from somewhere in your IC piping you didnt tighten it enough or something somewhere

Post some pictures of your setup. How can you tell you have pressure drop when you are not even building boost. 3" piping is to big for your motor anyway, the intercooler its self is to big I bet, specially if you are still running the t25.

there is no leak from any of the pipes and the car is starting fine now but the car still wont get past 4 psi. anyone have any idea what it could be?

you can feel the car bugging out. and it wont move it feels like when my intercooler piping fell off and it had a leak but we checked for leaks and cant we couldnt find any
