ok so i was right the first time i took it to a second mechanic to get another opinion and he said it was the oil pan so they changed it and turns out it had 3 holes in it although they were small but still leakin perty bad and the next thing is i had a guy paint my valve cover and the moron tightened the bolts down the the distributor? and cracked the valve cover which is how the other mechanic believed it was the rear main seal because it was drippping down...

Same here my mechanic who forced the serpentine belt and broke my oil seal.
it was too big to berepair and ending up selling the car
