Default Light rims make a difference?

I wanted to sell my rims because i dont actually like the way they look but they are really light and i just wanted to know if this made a large difference. They are 8.6 pounds a piece.(anyone know stock weight?) http://www.jdmland.com/



click on final version 16" evo rims. $1499 i dont know for sure if mine are 16 in or 17in.

Well, unless your running a LOT of power, no it wouldnt make a noticable diffrerence.

If you get light wheels then you should basically gut the whole car like taking out seats and such and runningsome carbon fiber parts like the hood and deck lidbut the Spyders are heavy cars to begin with so good luck on that issue. But the wheels themselves aren't going to be a big help in weight reduction on a Spyder.
