Default Loss of power

Just recently i have noticed an almost complete loss of low end torque. It just happened two weeks ago. I dont know why it happend, but it was really sudden and i dont think there is a major problem but i would like some suggestions on what it could be.

Things to think about
- Just changed oil -Q advanced
- bad tires
- have been using gas from the same station for the last two weeks. - Amoco Ultimate
- I have used fuel injector cleaner.

What octane have you been putting in the car? Not only do i have an RS but an integra and when i put low octane fuel in it i notice a power diffrence. Maybe check your Spark Plugs, might not be firing the right way.

Yes i have checked the oil, and have already said that.
the gas was premium. I always put premium in the car becase is says to. but the spark plugs are worth looking into if i could only find the other three.

honestly, the "back" spark plugs are a NIGHTMARE to get to..you have to practically take the top of the engine apart...thats why most places will charge a Ton for a tune up...

the plugs are under the intake manifold...

has the car overheated at all recently??

a bad plug or wire, or any misfire issue, will trigger a CEL...i had a cracked plug that WAS firing, so i felt no difference, but i still had a CEL

Thanks yall, that is really good info to know. but i Think the Problem was just the gas. It is working better now. But I have another question.

Unfortunatlly i have an automatic, and when i put it in reverse i hear a short buzz an then a ping that sounds like hitting two metal poles together. Have any idea what that could be?

does it do this when putting it in drive also? I hear this noise also when putting it into drive and reverse, just without the metal ping at th end? Someone told me it's supposed to sound like that but i doubt that very much.

Also try changing your fuel filter...it could be clogged.
