hi all.
my carisma 02 has been a brill buy.
ive never had any probs until i put £20 petrol in the other day.
turned my ignition on. and my engine management light was lit.
i thought it might of been a 'bad batch' of petrol.
the car running spot on still.
i run the petrol right down. filled the tank, light still on!.
i know i will need a diagnostic but has anybody any ideas before i take it to a garage and have 'my eyeballs taken out' by cost lol.

Fuel shouldn't affect 'engine management' and it's highly unlikely that this is your problem, so it's off to the diagnostic machine to have your eyeballs scraped I'm afraid.
