Default Minor noises new 6bolt

Hey guys; I recently just got my 1995 eclipse gsx out of the shop
they put a 6-bolt 4g63t into it and a JDM transmission. I have a few questions about this swap though.

1. There is some kind of light rattle coming from the transmission. (I have concluded that this may be because the speed sensor isn't hooked up all the way, the unit is inside the transmission but The part that has the wires is not attached. I'm going to mitsubishi friday to get one.) But i was just curious if that was possible if that could be that light noise.

2. Also, It kind've sounds like a loose mount is also on the engine because whenever the engine shakes at all it sounds like a heavy grade metal grinding slightly.

3. Also , about the transmission. It is a JDM Transmission, would the 1995 USDM Speed sensor plug in and hook up fine ?

4. Final question: when the car is idling, it seems like a small vacuum leak or something because it idles and the RPM's go down alot and almost stalls, then picks back up. But when I'm on the gas the car runs fine. Only during idle it does this.

Thanks for all the help.

Will

They could have put a 7 bolt transmission on it.

I forget the reason, I just know for a fact that the 7 bolt makes a noise when mated with a 6 bolt

Yea i have never heard of that before. And most people who do the swap stick with the 2g tranny because it has the 23 spline i believe. and are alot better than the 1g which are known to have syncro issues.

But the idle issue is probably a vaccuum leak somewhere. Make sure that all your vacuum lines are hooked up correctly. Check out the Eclipse FAQ on vacuum line routing. The rattle may be because the people that did the install did not cut enough of the mount out of the way because there is a very slight clearance issue at the water pump.

Also did they use the stock 2g head or did they swap an entire 1g long block in? Also im assuming they knew to rewire the cam angle sensor correctly. Is this a shop that has done this before? just curious
