Mit. mirage 1.8, 1995
seems such a shame to not have spark in this ride. when it was alive it was a real gem. aparently there is no book available except the factory authorized version at the tune of $195. I've been scratching my head but without guidance the thing is going to set. the module is suspect but so is a couple other things. 100 mile tow to the nearest Mit. shop is out of the question. I have the ability just not the details of direction. frustrated!

The Mirage was re-badged by Chrysler as both the Eagle Summit and the Dodge Colt sedan. Have you looked at the Chilton's manual for those?
My 92 Expo was re-badged as the Summit Wagon and the Colt Vista. I bought the Chilton's written for those "Chryslers" and it seems to be the right info. It's a little harder to find what you're looking for because there were some different engine/tranny/option package combinations offered - depending on what brand name was put on the vehicle. But with a little patience, and some digging, I've been able to find everything I looked for.
The manual number you want is Chilton's # 20342 - same one I have. Hope that helps.

RE: Mit. mirage 1.8, 1995
thanks for the reply firedoc. The beast I am working on had been drove around for some time with a low voltage problem,(the alt fuse was blown) I did fix that particular issue but a couple days later we were left stranded on the way to red slobster. well, we went and had skampie anyway while we wated for a ride back home. I have yet to find a book on the subject but I got a tip from someone to look under a summit or colt as aparently it was re-badged as such. that is the next direction. It has no spark and I require data to track it down properly. My befuddlement is but a temporary thing. Thanks!
