Default mod chips

whats the deal w/ mod chips, are they really worth it? for instance the hurricane-horsepower modification (websight- http://www.hurricane-horsepower.com/#hpchart -) they claim to improve HP w/ no mpg lose, if not an improvement on mpg.

hah, did you look at that website? All of the different stages that they sell will give "Up to 20 hp" , but yet the price range goes from 9.95 to 39.95.. Why in the hell would anyone buy the more expensive one if they all give the same hp?

how much would you estimate a mechanic would charge to install an intake system or is it easy to install yourself? and what would you recomend cold air intake, or V2 intake?

the V2 is a cold air intake... Cold air intakes are nice and do make a minor difference.

Install it yourself it is like a 10 minute install and requires no knowledge what so ever...its very easy
