Need help
So my car has been having some problems lately. Burning oil pretty quick, knocking noise, and tinted blue smoke coming out of the exhaust.
Ive concluded that these would most likely be the lifters, and valve seals. It's still drivable but just not in perfect condition.
Lately its been sputtering at Idle. (like sitting at a traffic light the rpms go down and you can really feel it)
I go in to get a tranny flush n fluids and they tell me that im low 3 quarts of oil ( holy ****). I get it topped off with oil then take my drive home, still sputtering. Almost home and the cel comes on. Reallllly scared me considering i need this car to get myself to school n such.
Any ideas?

RE: Need help
I would start with a compression test if you can rent or buy the tool, or just make one. Here is a great how to on it http://www.geocities.com/dsmgrrrl/FAQs/compression.htm
see what kinda results you get there. But it does sound like the valve stem seals to me. Another possibility is the valve cover gasket. When you are removing the spark plug wires for the compression test, see if there is oil in the holes before you remove the plugs
