No Electricity When Key Turned
When I put my key in the ignition and turned it nothing happened. The dash board and everything else was dark. Nothing turned over and no apparent clicking sound. I pulled the key out and put back in and turned, I did this several times. I went inside and went back out to recheck, nothing.
Something similar happened a few days or so ago, but I turned the key back and then tried to restart and it started fine.
The battery is a relatively new Interstate. I have had the car about 3 years with no such problem.
Car: 1992 3000GT, 5 speed.
I will have to call my mechanic tomorrow, but was hoping to get some heads up of what might be the problem.
Thank you very much.

I got the car to the mechanic. It turned out to be a dead battery. It was an Interstate less than 2 years old and completely dead.
Bummer, I thought Interstates used to be pretty good. Apparently, what my mechanic said, is they are no as good as they used to be. And when they die they quit like a burned fuse, no warning whatsoever.
