Noise on low throttle input
I have a 2012 FWD Lancer with 5MT, already changed transmission oil and wheel bearings.
When I had purchased the car I hadn't noticed the noise, but after a few months I started noticing it. The noise happens when I apply very low load on the throttle and is more noticeable at around 60mph in 5th and 4th, the noise does not increase with RPM. If I take my foot off the throttle or press it harder the noise disappears or is "shrouded" by the engine noise. Been trying to find out wether it is a trans, front diff or something else but people who related they had this issue didn't share the solve. I'm trying to avoid going to the dealership because they will want an arm and a leg for the diagnosis. Really need some light here.
