Non-Start When Cold
Does anyone have experience with a Eclipse that won't start when it's cold outside (not cold engine)? I just rebuilt my son's 420A in the last few weeks and once it got cold out this thing won't start at all until it warms up in the sun. Unless I jump it. I practically just wave a pair of jumper cables over it, and it starts right up. No drained-battery, engine-lugging start at all. I connect the cable and BANG it starts.
I'm thinking ignition switch, but the outside temp seems to be a factor, so...
I'd appreciate any help you can give. I also appreciate this forum so that I can learn (read a few tips during the rebuild that I am grateful for!)
BTW, I'm Pacific Northwest. Cold right now is below 40 degrees for this situation.
