I have a 1991 talon tsi with the 4g63 turbo i am not sure what it is but I am getting the low coolant light in my dash the one that looks like a rectangle with lines through it the book says it has to do with coolant level but coolant is fine checked. can anyone help me solve the problem.

 

The float sensor in the coolant bottle could be bad.

 

One would assume that you checked the coolant level in the overflow bottle and not just removing the radiator cap to check the coolant level in the engine.

If the overflow bottle is dry/low then the sensor is working correctly and you need to add coolant to the overflow bottle.
