radio code for a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero XLS

Where can you get the radio code for a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero XLS without paying the Mitsubishi service center to fix the radio?

the only place i know of that can give you the radio code is the dealership. Most of the time they can give it to you with your VIN#

TheEngineer is right. If the radio is still installed in the same original vehicle most dealers here will get you the code for free. If it's an OEM replacement from a used car they will want proof it was purchased legally .. that's usually in the form of a receipt from a junkyard etc. In that case you will also need to provide the model and serial number of the unit.

please help me...I Have not got owners manual...I can't go to the dealer...I live in republic of Georgia..and I bought this car from USA...only i have this information..and if it posible I want to find radio CODE.i can't phone to my dealer....I need radio code...to unlock it... radio serial nomber is: 99D65061 radio model:MR490090 my car vin code is: JA4MW51R21J033971
