Question remote key lost....possible to buy used one

Hi
I’m a new guys here and have a little technical question
Recently (2 days ago) i loste my 2011 outlander key (EScanadian model)

Here is the key (exactly the same but without trunk)

I heard over internet that it is possible to get a usedkey and get the dealer to reprogram it…..

BUT

Only think to check is to be sure that my key and the usedkey have the same FCC ID number (i think in canada they call it RFID)

To be sure that transmitter in the car and the transmitterin the key can communicate… is that right ?

Because my dealer here tell me there is not such thinglike ‘’code’’ or transmitter in my key and that he already try to reprogramused key and ‘’somethime it work, sometime it doesn’t’’

So how can i obtain my transmitter code (if there is suchthing!!!!)
Can i ‘’force’’ my dealer to give it to me ? (way to talk…justeconvince them….lol)

Thank a lot

Get new or even used key, if you are not too far I can program your car to accept it.

Filling in location in you forum profile really helps BTW.

For 2010+ you cannot reuse FAST type key.

And yes, driving that far is not feasible

it's not realy a fast key (is a dtak key or fob key) term the dealer use when i talk to him yesterday

And today after a long talk he tell me the outlander 2010+ seem to be impossible to reprogram a key that is already used on anothr vehicule....

i got to buy a new key....... sad

so it is a 250$ short this week
