2007 Mitsubishi Outlander transmission: Someday I will replace with an on-line rebuilt unit or possibly one from Pull a Part. Nearest dealer is 150 miles away and only the dealer's software can change my vehicle's computers as I found out with the tire TPS's. Will my vehicle's computers recognize a replacement transmission? I can use all external old sensors if needed. Same question for replacing engine.
