seat belt chimes

Just got 2004 galant gts and want to know how to disable seat belt chimes. Drives me crazy. I have a mercury mountaineer and at least they tell you how in the owners manual.

there should be a wire coming out of the seat belt latch just disconnect it from there.

You should really wear ur seatbelt, but if thats not ur style then go to a junkyard and cut off a matching end that'll fit, then put it in so it wont chime any more.
