2003 Eclipse Spyder - Convertible top will go down but not up. Here's the facts... PLEASE help me solve this
murder-mystery!

1. The top will go down via power. It will not go up.

2. The rear triangle windows work.

3. I do hear the relays clicking even though it does not move.

4. I replaced the relay box (part number MR387166) behind the back seat with 2 used boxes. Both boxes maintained
the same problem, but one blew a 30A fuse and both smelled strongly of burning from within complete with smoke!)
Replaced fuse and put original box back with no change to situation.) My original box does NOT burn/smoke like the
2 used ones do but the part numbers as well as the number under (G8C-150M) match the original. Both burned boxes seem to work fine even after getting surged, they just wont close the top.

5. Both motors DO NOT have pins. I know the pins shear, but I took out both motors (without mixing them up!) and there are no pins. When disengaged, they both spin freely in the up direction, but neither move in the down direction.

6. I tested the top control switch and it seems to be working fine.
