tell me what you think [2000 Mitsubishi Galant 4cyl]
okay well where do i begin...
the first problem started about 3 weeks ago, my car wouldnt start..
i ended up finding out that the wire to the starter was bad. great. $10 wire. fixed it. great =].
and by the way, never take your starter to autozone...they bulls****ed and said it was bad but i went across the street to kragens and it was fine [F*** autozone]
well when me and my friend [supposably a mechanic] took out the starter he loosened the hose to my radiator and never tightened it back up after the starter was fixed.. [he loosened it because the screw was hurting his wrist, poor f'n baby...b*****]
well i'm driving to work & THE TEMERATURE WAS PEGGED TO THE H!
stopped the car immediatly... had it towed home... missed work..
got the car back home and tried to start it and nothing..
there was water in the oil, oh my god... head gasket obviously blown..
so i took two weeks off of work to get this fixed...
took out the intake manifold, headers, head... everything looked fine..
degreased everything cleaned the block and cleaned the head..
no cracks whatsoever.. took the head to the machine shop and it was good...
so $300 later i find myself piecing everything back together..
the gasket wasnt broken but it sure was warped..
i bought new gaskets, head bolts, silicone, spark plugs & spark plug wire set, copper spray, oil, and coolant, and block seal [just in case]...
hell i even got a timing belt since i was down there i might as well fix that too...
does anyone have hope that i'll get it running again or should i start looking at the downsides of this project?

ha where do i start i have a 99 eclipse 2.0 non turbo
i have a real bad knocking noise not for sure where it is coming from? had the oil changed and thought that would help but it seems to make it worse. also had the coil changed bc i had a misfire on cyc 4. so what do u think i should do??
