Timing belt and counterbalance out of time?
I recently had my timing belt and counter balance belts (98 Eclipse Spyder) changed. Since that time I've had nothing but problems.
What would be some of the symptoms of a counterbalance and/or timing belt being put on incorrectly and thus out of time? I'm 90% sure this is what is causing the problems I'm experiencing, I just want to hear some other ideas. I purposely didn't list the problems because it will be that much more telling if someone can name any of what I'm experiencing without me doing that. Thanks for any ideas... |

If the balance shaft was 180* you would feel a lot of vibration around 3k-5k rpms.

Yeah...you can feel it through the seats, it's really strong. It sounds like hell too, like there's not even an exhaust.
