Timing belt kit suggestions Mitsu. Montero sport 2001
Hello everyone. I own a Mitsubishi montero sport ES 2001 and I need to change the timing belt... I've seen a couple on the Internet but I would apreciate any suggestion of good timing belt kits out there that fits...

Timing marks
Hi. I am in the middle of a timing belt job on my 2002 Montero Sport and need some help! Before I removed the old timing belt, i turned the crankshaft clockwise until its timing marks lined up. However, I didn't notice until after I removed the belt that the timing marks on the camshafts do not line up. In fact they are 180 degrees off. Does this make any sense? Is it possible I mistook the timing mark on the crankshaft?
I bought a GATES TCKWP287B Timing Belt Water Pump Kit.

I think when I still had the belt on, I should have turned the crankshaft one or more times. Given that the crankshaft gear is smaller than the camshaft gear, it seems plausible to me that another turn will get everything aligned. Sharing in case this is useful to anyone.
