Default Vacuum line for boost gauge... good spot?

Hey, this is where i T'd my vacuum line for my boost gauge. Is this a good spot? Not sure if it's coincidence or not, but I'm getting a check engine light, and it seems like it started right after the installation. Where would you guys recommend I put it?... if this is a bad spot.

you want the guage coming right from the intake manifold so yea thats a fine spot. it shouldnt trigger your check engine light though so make sure there are no leaks and if you cant find a problem reset your ecu to see if the light comes back on

I would recommend using small clamps instead of zip ties though

yeah i was going to do that but i went to auto zone and advanced and jegs all of the shops were out even meijer (sp?) so i had to make due :/

zip ties are fine thats what i used you can get those guys pretty tight

i used plyers and a screw driver to get them as tight as possible without crushing anything. and i read 10 psi stock is that the correct amount of boost i am suppose to be running? i am trying to find out everyting before i mod so i can tell if everything is currently ok before i do.

10-12 psi sounds about right
