I have an 89 dodge d-50 with the 2.6 mitsubishi motor. I changed the head gasket a few months ago. Was running good then ran out of power. It would hardly go 55 on the highway floored. Then it cranked hard when trying to start, shortly after it just started turning over really fast as if it had no compression and wouldnt try to start at all. Found two exhaust valves that look like the rocker arm beat the crap out of them...no valve adjustment, they are hydraulic type. Timing chain guides are worn to **** along with oil pump chain guides. Is there any hope for this motor? oh and plugs were replaced yesterday when it was running. 35 miles later they are fouled.
