Hi all, I'm a new poster here with a few questions about my son's car. It's a 1997 Eclipse GS. The passenger window gets stuck in the down position. The switch is activating the motor in the up position, because I can here it spinning, but the window remains down. While activating the motor if you manually grab and pull up on the window it grabs and works fine. Any ideas, or suggestions on a fix?

Another question is about automatic door locks. The passenger auto door lock is not quite strong enough to lock and unlock the door. It's trying, but not able to fully throw the mechanism. Will a good cleaning help this? I plan on fixing both problems at the same time.

My son would also like to install a CD player in this car. It now has an AM/FM/Cassette player with the open storage bin under the unit. Will a stock CD player from a salvage yard fit the storage bin area? Is there anything else needed besides the CD player and cable to finish this project?

try ckeaning the window track and regreasing it as well as the door lock motor. a fact cd player and cable will work just fine. hope this helps!
