'07 Outlander help with front seat please?

Thanx joetiii for responding; the switch was the first thing I thought of too, but the up and down positions worked fine, so I went for electrical. I did not find a fuse for the seats so I unhooked the battery for a few minutes. I then hit the switch hard, while not sitting in the seat, and after a few tries, it moved forward OK. I guess it was just stuck, and as usual, the dealer was NO #%&% help at all. The same old mantra "bring it in and we'll put it on the computer".

Everyone has differing opinions on synthetic. It is my belief that a good Dino oil can go 5-7k depending on driving conditions. if you are going to synthetic to extend your change cycle, then by all means make the switch. Make sure to pick a good brand and use the correct weight.
I have friends who change out Mobil 1 in their Porsches once per year. They don't track the cars and rarely drive more than 2500 miles per year. For that purpose, i think synth is a waste.

Thanx joetiii, I guess for the '07 Outlander, it really doesn't make much difference, so I'll advise my daughter to stick with the Dino oil. Funny you should use "Dino" because I actually just sold a 1972 Dino 246 GTS.
