where can i find after market motor mods for my car? all i can find is parts for the 2.0. thanks

 

gs or gst? check with 50ul he's always in the 2nd Generation Eclipse location. which would bea good place to post this also.

 

gs 2.4 the only ones that generation with a 2.4

 

i would think the 2.0 parts would fit.....Goggle that **** yo

 

ur right, my bad but the parts should be interchangable

 

i ran into the same problem a while back with my spyder. when i bought it, it was just a gs 2.4l sohc. i swapped heads with a 4g63 head (takes a little modification, but it can be done) and that seemed to make ita little easier. but to completely answer your question, a spyder gs has almost the same engine layout as the gst model. everything is layed out the same, but just different engine. the intake comes off of the left hand side on both, the tranny is on the left side on both.....etc. the onlything ur gonna have to watch for is the obvious....pistons, piston rings....**** like that. pretty much look for the ones that fit on the only good motors that were in the 2nd gens. the rest of em are ****ty chrysler built

 

Here's what you do; CHOP OFF THE FRONT HALF OF YOUR CAR AND SEND IT TO ME. the 4g64 fits nicley into a Mirage
