2003 Lancer Temp Gauge Pegging
Hi -
I have a 2003 Lancer and when you start the engine (sometimes) the gauge pegs to HOT even when the engine is cold. Sometimes it works normally too - but will suddenly peg to hot while driving even though the engine is normal operating temp. We have replaced both Temp sensors - and just to be safe (even though it is not overheating) it has new thermostat, new hoses, flushed etc.. It is definitely electrical issue as not overheating. Any ideas - or do I have to replace the ECU? Hopefully not.
