Hey folks, im new to the whole forum scene. So forgive me for any informality. Im usually pretty good at finding any info I need on my own, but my resourcefulness fails me this time. So here goes....I just picked up a 91 Montero LS, I was just curious if there are any simple mods or tweaks I can do to the 3.0 V6 to get just a little more power out of the motor, not much more....lets say like 50 more horses or so? Also, ive been searching for headers, but cant seem to find any. Does anyone make any for this motor? Would 91 3000 gt headers fit? Any pointers or any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

 

Welcome to the forum. No bolt ons will give you 50 more hp unless you turbo and one shot it (nitrous). Headers, cold air intake, etc MAY gain you a few hp.

 

swap it out for a 6.0 v8.


Dont waste money on a fwd.
