i just found a website about autocross from scca, they're next meeting won't be til later this month but i was wonderin if anyone has tried anyhing like it and what they think of it

 

Give it a try. You will have a blast. I have been Autocrossing for the past 6 years. If you go, just let the folks running it know you are new and want to learn. Ask questions & participate in rookie course walks. You can spend as little or as much as you want in Autox. Regardless, it is a good time. Don't try to cheat on what class your car belongs in, as that is the number one no, no in Autox. People get pretty excited about that.

Read up on the SCCA rulesand take your sunscreen. You will likely have to chase cone when you are not driving.

 

autoX is a blast!! i have a pos lil Honda Del Sol that i have autocrossed twice. the first time it was competely stock!!! the second time it had springs, sway bars, strut bars, intake and exahust on it and made it a lot funner.
