Just had the lovely people at Wiltshire & Sons in Farnham do a Balance Shaft Delete on my Outlander for £758. Excellent service well worth the trip to Farnham. There is rarely anything wrong with the timing chain. They remove the Balance shaft and bypass the oil flow and now it sounds perfect again. Outlander don't need a Balance Shaft at all.
