i have a 1995 gsx eclipse with around 30,000 miles on it .im starting to do upgrades on it. was wondering the best BOV i can put onit.for the money, willing to spend around 200 bucks for one thank in advance .just looked up on a blitz(dual) ,greedy, and a hks. i have no idea which one give off the best pressure release from the built up pressure from the turbo

It depends on what your looking for in sound. you have to get one that can recirculate so that limits your choices a bit. The main ones are these

- HKS SSQV
- Greddy Type-S
- Stock 1g BOV

For $200 you could get any of these. But it really depends on the sound you want. The 1g will be close to stock. The Greddy has a high pitch wistle. And the HKS has a stutter sound.

what about the pressure release?? are they preety much all the same just different sounds??

those he listed are among the best you can get that can be recirculated. as for pressure release, you tune the spring on the bov so it opens when it should. All are good, only difference is sound. Go one youtube, search those bov's and listen

For something under the $200 cap, Forge makes a DV/BOV just like the 1G bov but it has a changable springs and is recirc'd. I bought mine for $150 shipped.

You can get a crushed 1g cheap as hell, Ive never tried it. But Ive heard good things...

Yeah, if done correctly it can manage upwards of 20+ psi...if done correctly.
Mine held up to 21psi until I got overzealous with the crushing, lol.
