I have a 1998 Mitsubishi Montero sport that was bought as is, so no owners manual. Battery went dead because of alternator, now radio is telling me I need a code for it to work. Does anybody know what code?

 

you need to pull your radio and get the serial # and that with your vin. # call a dealership and ask for the service department, with these #'s they can get you your code. They need the #'s to first check to see that the radio isn't stolen.
