Dash Kit
I was looking at this dash kit MIC006-A011
2003-05 Mitsubishi Eclipse - Basic Trim Kit with CD or Cassette Radio in Brushed Aluminum Each $137.50
1) is this a good deal? 2) is it hard to install?
I am trying to decide between painting (which seems really hard)

RE: Dash Kit
True dat. I totally agree the 3G dash is boring. I was thinking of only triming the vent and cluster circles. my doors are already two tone. I have been working on custom inserts for seats just for that gay pattern in the middle of each seat I am going to do a black insert and sew/glue then add piping if done right should look nice.

RE: Dash Kit
If you are looking for "Brushed aluminum," try and avoid the cheap kits - the brushed aluminum look is nowhere near what real brushed aluminum looks like.
Trim kits are not hard to install at all - they are basically giant stickers that you put on top of your existing trim. Hardest part is lining them up perfectly so it doesn't look like crap.
Painting is easy - hardest part is taking off the trim pieces (not hard at all) and its more time consuming than anything.
