Can i put a 2.0 head on a 1.8 bottom end?

Na man i just bought a 95 talon it has a rod knockin bad. An a buddy sold me a 1.8 SOHC motor for 150 CHEAP as hell an i wanted to put my 2.0 head on that 1.8. Mitsubishi is gay need a honda

What 1.8 motor did he sell you that you planned on putting it in a 95 talon? There was never a 1.8L motor for the 2g. Only a 2.0 and 2.4L
