whats up? just thought i would pop in and let you all know you might be glad to hear i switched back to mitsubishi lol. i totaled my saturn. not my fault. but when i got the insurance situation settled i put a downpayment on a 3rd gen eclipse.. best decision i could have made..

well im ok now, i was pretty much bed ridden for a while, i had an 18wheeler pull out infront of me and i hit him in his fuel tank at a head on angle at 45mph.. it hurt, but i walked away. this eclipse has shocked the hell outa me i fell straight in love. it has a cold air intake and exhaust, not sure what brand for either.. its a 2.4l and it is much quicker than i ever woulda expected.. is it safe to turbo the 2.4? just wondering, i wouldnt have the money for it for a long while. i love it though, couldnt be happier, and it sounds so good.. it is loud but not too loud, dont sound like a damn ricer yanno? lol.. by far the best car i have ever had. i have put just about 500 miles on it and havent had a problem yet.. anything i should look out for?

 

yea you can turbo that motor pretty easily with a 16g. Those arent really the fastest cars since they weigh so much. Do a search in the 3g section. I think emonz has posted a link a couple times of common problems on these cars

thanks TE you have always been such a help.. i have the sunroof issue down there i might try to fix.. how much would it cost me to install a 16g turbo kit

 

and you said its pretty easy, but how well will the internals hold up? is this 2.4 able to support boost? just curious.
