Default How much would it cost to install subs on an '03 Lancer LS?

I live in Boston. I'm looking for a better sound in the car with subwoofers for bass. I have all original speakers in the lancer ATM. I listen to a lot of hip hop and rap. The lancer is NOT an Evolution, just a basic 4 door sedan LS. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Your best "bang for the buck" would be a pre-built sub box with amp. Most of the companies (Kicker/Alpine/Sony/Kaption Etc) have something like that in their line-up. If you only have stock radio you will need one that has speaker input on the amp. The amp will need to be wired to your battery and radio. It is very simple to do and any reputable shop will be able to do it. The price really depends on what you want. A basic mid range box plus sub plus amp is probably 4-500 dollars then install if you can't do it yourself. Install kit is about 80 then labour 3 to 4 hours tops. Check your local stereo shops andf places like futureshop/bestbuy I am sure you can find something that fits your needs.
