Need Outlander Advice
Need some advice about Outanders.
Looked at them a bit yesterday. However, I am concerned that a 6 cyl model is not available.
We travel frequently to the mountains of North Carolina to ski.
Do these have the power to adequately handle the mountains. Also, how well does the AWD model handle the snow?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I own the two wheel drive model and live in Oklahoma, so I can't help you much with the mountains. But maybe this will give you an idea...

The review is a little hard on the outlander, but they compare it to a Subaru which had a base cost about 5K higher.
I am quite satisfied with our outlanders.
I bought two.
The only other thing I would say, is watch for a pull to the right in the AWD models. Some have it, some don't. Last time I checked they didn't know how to correct the problem.
