Hey guys I'm new here although I have been reading posts for about 2 months. Just aquired a 94 Diamante LS from my boss for$550.00. was told it needed a new trans, It was supposedly taken to 2 trans shops and both said it needed a new trans. turns out it was 4 quarts low on fluid! she shifts like a dream. It does need the end clutches replaced.(will be done next month) I love this car!

Wow nice find, my g/f's pop pop has a 99 and loves it.

 

Good steal for only $550..now find out why it leaked 4 quarts of fluid and get that fixed too.

 

finding the leak is #1 on the repair and maitenance agenda. everything else seems to work and she just needs a good cleaning and of course proper maint. timing belt,water pump, tune-up.etc

Shes' the wifes car and all repairs maintenance will be done before she is allowed to drive her full time. The car rides like a dream and the leak on the trans was caused by a slightly loose trans pan bolts. trans fluid and filter will be changed soon.

The interior is in very good condition, no rips, slight wear,all floor mats. All interior lights and accessories work including radio, and self dimming mirror. Exterior is in good condition, a few very small scratches. no dents, but I need a newgrill, mine wasbroken when I got the car. She is a sweet ride, quiet,comfortable, and stable. She's a keeper! BTW I'm a mechanic and can do most of the work needed to keep her on the road myself.
