Hello. I just bought a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000Gt SL. AndI have a few questions. I want to do an engine swap. I want to put a VR-4 engine in it. And I was wondering about how I should go about doing so and about how much it would cost. Also, it needs a new clutch. And I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about witch one I should get cuse i am looking for a racing clutch. And any other quick tune up ideas to boost her speed.

 

you will spend much $$$ to swap your engine.

what is your reason to swap the engine? if you only need boost the speed, why don't install racing performance parts (exhaust, etc..)?

Just my opinion, but you'd be better off just buying a real VR4.

Vr4 swap is definitely going to run you a lot of money, you may be faster if you just build up what you have. Big turbo with strong internals and you got some serious go.
