believe it or not I tried the Du Point spray paint on on door panel and i did not like how it came out so I went to home depot and told them what I was trying to do. I got the little color swatch and they mixed some outdoor vinyal paint. I used that and a very small brush used for car models and tape. I did not clear coat because I did not want that shine. 1 pint of paint was like $12 I still have a lot left. people were saying that it would mess up over time but, the dude from Home Depot told me that ikf I painted a mailbox or some porch trim that it would last for like 5 years in the elements. So inside your car it should last even longer. I have had my trim done for almost a year and it looks like it did the day I painted it.

True, but I mean... mailboxes arent being sat on and shifted around on all the time.. like the seats.. which you also used the home depot approach on?

No I got seat covers for the seats I painted the back plastic part and the handles my interior was tan with a black dash. All I need to do now is get a headliner. I may get custom black and grey leather seats if I can find cheap. If I can find some black leather ones in junkyard I will resurface the center of the seats with grey.

In fact, its likely that Id trade them for a set of the sparco brackets that mount the new seats to my 3G and shipping of the seats to wherever you are

The only reason I have a sport-tronic(auto) is because my wife does not drive a stick and I did not want to hear her mouth about buying a car that she could not drive. I tried teaching her when we were dating years ago and she is unteachable lol!!

Same reason I got mine, lol... Though, I was hoping it would be more like the Hurst his&hers shifter (Specifically like the one in a '71 LeMans I used to own).. but alas, not nearly the same
