Probly a real dumb question but i need to know
no problem man i can answer this. D S M it is the name of mitsu and eagle i think trhere is another car that is considerd dsm im not sure on that. it stands for diamond star motors ( similer to when you hear MOPAR with dodge and chrysler and i think gm is in that also)
Twice now I have run into problems when my garaged 3000's battery runs down and the anti-theft device on the stock CD/radio senses what it thinks is an attempted theft and locks you out once you restore power. You are then required to enter a "secret" security code on the radio face to get the system back up. Both times I thought I remembered the four digit security code and was too lazy to go looking for it. After three failed attempts, the system shuts down for good and the dealer claims they have to pull the unit in order to fix it. The first time, I was able to somehow get the sytem to give me another try-I thought by disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery-but no luck this time.
If anyone out there has any ideas-your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave Hendricks Gig Harbor, Wa.
